Realizing Concern for the People of Probolinggo, Bank Jatim Submit CSR & Launching Electronification of Regional Finance

SURABAYA, July 17, 2023. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk or bankjatim continues to show its concern for the surrounding environment as a form of corporate social responsibility to the community. Most recently, bankjatim has officially handed over CSR assistance in the form of 1 Unit of Probolinggo Regency Disaster Evacuation Operational Vehicle. Located in the Madakaripura Auditorium of the Probolinggo Regent's Office, the handover of the assistance was carried out symbolically by bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman to Plt. Regent of Probolinggo Drs. H. Ahmad Timbul Prihanjoko on Monday (17/7).
Busrul explained, bankjatim which is the bank of the people of East Java is not only focused on improving business, but also committed to pursuing value that is beneficial to society. One example is through the CSR program or known as Bank Jatim Peduli. "It is an obligation for us to always synergize in building and encouraging an area in East Java so that later it can become an area with a good level of service," he said.
According to Busrul, assistance in the form of 1 unit of disaster evacuation operational vehicles as a form of love and concern bankjatim to the people of Probolinggo Regency who have given confidence to the company in developing business. "We also express our gratitude and appreciation to the Regional Disaster Management Agency of Probolinggo Regency which until now has been consistent in tackling disasters until after the disaster," he said.
His side hopes that the assistance that has been provided can have a positive impact on the people of Probolinggo Regency and become a medical evacuation facility that is increasingly alert and responsive in the disaster management system. "We also hope to continue to be a working partner of the Probolinggo Regency Government to increase economic growth and develop regional potential," Busrul added.
On this occasion, in addition to the submission of CSR, there was also a launching of Regional Financial Electronification in the Probolinggo Regency Government. In this case, bankjatim is committed to always improving services to all stakeholders and customers. Busrul said, given the high public need for ease of banking services, then as a form of bankjatim's responsibility, it is unceasing to continue to innovate to realize a variety of service facilities for customers.
"Therefore, as one proof of our seriousness in providing ease of service for customers, namely by presenting the Electronification of Local Government Transactions," added Busrul. The program is intended to facilitate customers in transactions in the payment of inpatient and outpatient care at Waluyojati Hospital, MINERBA Tax Payment (Mineral Water Mining Goods), and there is also a Circle bankjatim application as a tool in the delivery of information relating to the receipt of levies electronically.
He hopes that Bank Jatim, especially Kraksaan Branch, can continue to be a partner of the Probolinggo Regency Government to increase economic growth and develop regional potential. "Hopefully today's event will bring benefits to all of us, and our products and services can continue to benefit customers, especially the people of Probolinggo Regency," said Busrul.
In response, Drs. H. Ahmad Timbul Prihanjoko gave his highest appreciation to bankjatim for the cooperation that has been established so far. "Hopefully this cooperation in the future can continue to be improved. We also hope that all regional devices can maximize the application of electronification of regional finances so that it can reduce leakage and increase Regional Original Revenue, "he explained.
