KEDIRI, OCTOBER 25, 2023. In order to minimize the use of cash in regional financial transactions, Kediri District Government together with bankjatim and BNI has launched the Regional Government Credit Card (KKPD). Located at Pendopo Panjalu, Kediri Regency, the launching event was attended by Kediri Regent Hanindhito Himawan Pramana and bankjatim's IT and Digital Director Zulhelfi Abidin on Wednesday (25/10) afternoon.
In his speech, Zulhelfi was very grateful for the cooperation that bankjatim continues to establish with the Kediri Regency Government so far continues to produce results. Especially in terms of the growing world of government finance. "The launch of KKPD Kediri Regency is in order to meet the needs of the Regional Work Unit (SKPD) for payment instruments based on applicable laws and regulations," he said.
Zulhelfi explained, KKPD the result of collaboration between bankjatim and BNI is used as a credit card to make payments on expenditures charged to the APBD. For this reason, bankjatim hopes that the use of KKPD in Kediri Regency can provide many benefits. Among other things, reducing idle cash from the use of work unit inventory money, increasing security, reducing the potential for fraud, and minimizing the use of cash.

Meanwhile, Kediri Regent Hanindhito Himawan Pramana stated that the implementation of KKPD in Kediri Regency is very sustainable with the spirit of the Regency Government to conduct non-cash transactions. "We hope that the KKPD can optimize the increase in PAD that may not have been detected before so it can be detected. KKPD can also facilitate Pemkab transactions and at the same time can accelerate economic turnover. Hopefully this can benefit the government and the community," he said.
