KEDIRI, September 22, 2023. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) successfully received an award from the East Java Provincial Government as a Sports Care Business Entity at the commemoration of the East Java National Sports Day (Haornas) 2023. Located at Gor Jayabaya Kediri, the award was handed over by East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa to bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman and witnessed directly by the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo on Friday night (22/9).
Busrul explained that his company was the first to receive the award.
Busrul explained that he was very grateful to the East Java Provincial Government for the award given to bankjatim. "This award is given for bankjatim's concern for the development and consistency in creating outstanding athletes. Because, the success of sports must be supported by all parties, not only the government, but also banks, "he said.
In addition to receiving the award, on the occasion, bankjatim also gave appreciation in the form of coaching money to eight outstanding East Java athletes who had retired. The nominal money given to the athletes amounted to Rp 10,000,000, -. The eight athletes come from various sports. Such as athletic sportsmen, bicycle racing, weight lifting, taekwondo, and gymnastics.
"We do this as a form of gratitude because they have contributed to the name of East Java for all their achievements. Hopefully this can be a motivation for other athletes to continue to be enthusiastic about making brilliant achievements, both in East Java, nationally, and internationally, "said Busrul.
Meanwhile, Khofifah also explained, in this Haornas it is hoped that all parties can continue to build enthusiasm and commitment together so that a pentahelix approach will be built which contains various elements. Starting from universities, government, media, to athletes. "This can certainly be a unity in order to advance sports achievement and recreational sports in East Java.
