Bank Jatim Honored by KPID East Java for its Significant Contributions to the Regional Broadcasting Sector

SURABAYA, November 12, 2024. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) successfully secured a special award from the East Java Regional Broadcasting Commission (KPID) as a "Broadcasting-Conscious Regionally Owned Enterprise (BUMD)." This prestigious recognition was presented during the 2024 KPID East Java Broadcasting Awards Gala Night on Tuesday (12/11). Held at the Grahadi State Building in Surabaya, the award was received by bankjatim’s Corporate Secretary, Wioga Adhiarma Aji.
Wioga expressed his sincere gratitude to all broadcasting professionals, particularly within the East Java region, who have consistently supported bankjatim in disseminating neutral and balanced information, as well as aiding the company in combating misinformation and hoaxes across digital platforms. He noted that broadcasting institutions in East Java play a pivotal role in providing objective, high-quality, and trusted information to the public.
”In this era of digital transformation, broadcasting media must adapt rapidly to technological shifts and societal trends to remain relevant and fulfill the public’s right to information. Following this achievement, Wioga stated that the award serves as motivation for bankjatim to continue innovating for sustainable growth and to remain dedicated to delivering the best for the nation. ”We remain committed to the consistent dissemination of corporate information and policies. In this way, stakeholders and the public seeking information regarding bankjatim can access it with ease,” he concluded.
The Chairman of KPID East Java, Immanuel Yosua Tjiptosoewarno, also conveyed his appreciation to bankjatim for its dedication and support of local broadcasting institutions.
