Bank Jatim Delivers CSR Facade Renovation for the Sultan Abdul Kadirun Sports Hall to the Bangkalan Local Government.

BANGKALAN, November 19, 2024. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) proactively continues to distribute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance as a form of the company's social commitment to the surrounding community. Most recently, bankjatim handed over a CSR project to the Bangkalan Regency Government in the form of a wall painting and aesthetic revitalization for the Sultan Abdul Kadirun Sports Center (GOR). Held at the Pendopo Agung of Bangkalan Regency, the CSR project was symbolically handed over by the Branch Manager of bankjatim Bangkalan, Achmad Riyan Fatri, to the Acting Regent of Bangkalan, Arief M. Edie, on Tuesday (19/11). The event also featured the distribution of Simpeda lottery prizes to loyal customers of the Bangkalan Branch.
The President Director of bankjatim, Busrul Iman, explained that the objective of the Sultan Abdul Kadirun GOR wall painting is to optimize sports facilities in accordance with infrastructure, competition, security, and safety standards. This initiative aims to empower the local community and improve the social standard of living in Bangkalan. ”Furthermore, this assistance is designed to nurture the talent and potential of local athletes and facilitate athlete regeneration, as the sports venue is now high-quality and comfortable. We hope this CSR from bankjatim will transform the sports center into a new hub for economic activity that brings positive change to the community,” he remarked.
Through this CSR, Busrul continued, bankjatim is actively supporting increased interest in sports among the younger generation to foster a healthy population and create opportunities for talented youth to emerge. "We hope the younger generation, as the successors of this nation, can grow to be innovative, creative, and inclusive. We also expect that this aesthetic revitalization will enhance the GOR’s appearance so it can serve as a platform to promote Bangkalan, particularly among the youth,” he added.
Arief M. Edi expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to bankjatim for the CSR assistance provided to Bangkalan. ”The revitalization of the Sultan Abdul Kadirun GOR walls is expected to create decent sports infrastructure for the community.
