Bank Jatim and Bank NTT Strengthen Cooperation in the Provision of Sharing Biller Services.

SURABAYA, December 17, 2024. Following the recent signing of a Shareholder Agreement, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) continues to solidify its business synergy with PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Nusa Tenggara Timur (Bank NTT). This was evidenced on Tuesday (18/12), as bankjatim officially signed a cooperation agreement with Bank NTT regarding Financial Services for the Implementation of Sharing Biller. The agreement was signed by bankjatim’s Director of Finance, Treasury & Global Services, Edi Masrianto, and the Acting President Director of Bank NTT, Yohanis Landu Praing, witnessed by bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman and Director of Operations Arif Suhirman.
Busrul explained that the purpose of this agreement is to foster collaboration between bankjatim and Bank NTT in business development and to enhance Bank NTT’s services to its customers. ”The objective of this partnership is to enable Bank NTT customers to perform bill payment transactions through billers that have already partnered with bankjatim,” he stated.
The scope of this synergy covers three primary areas:

Payment Processing: Accepting bill payments made by customers through Bank NTT’s channels, with bankjatim acting as the Sharing Biller service provider.

Technological Provision: Bank NTT will provide the technological systems required for payment integration that comply with bankjatim’s standards and regulations.

System Integration: Joint preparation and implementation of the Sharing Biller integration system by both parties.
”For this sharing biller collaboration, bankjatim offers an extensive array of service features that Bank NTT can utilize. These features include payments for electricity (PLN), water (PDAM), property taxes (PBB), electronic money top-ups, and more, all designed to help Bank NTT customers meet their financial needs with ease. This is undoubtedly a win-win for both institutions,” Busrul elaborated.
Busrul expressed his hope that this collaboration would expand the reach of banking services for the people of NTT, providing them with seamless transaction experiences. ”We hope this partnership generates positive energy, allowing us to grow together in developing national banking services. We are ready to be Bank NTT’s strategic partner in accelerating the digitalization of financial services to achieve even more massive regional economic growth,” he asserted.
Meanwhile, Yohanis Landu Praing expressed his sincere gratitude to bankjatim for the excellent synergy established. He revealed that for the biller payment services, Bank NTT will provide technological systems in the form of websites or mobile applications owned and developed by Bank NTT, which will be connected to the payment and transaction systems via bankjatim’s banking facilities. ”Through this collaboration, we hope to further prove Bank NTT’s commitment to providing the best and most optimal services for our customers. This partnership is a tangible manifestation of the spirit of togetherness to strengthen the regional economic foundation and increase financial inclusion,” he concluded.
