MALANG, January 15, 2026. In an effort to optimize digital transformation and the synergy among members of the Bank Business Group (KUB), PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) officially signed the ratification of the 2026-2029 Information Technology Strategic Plan (RSTI) on Thursday (1/15). Held at the Grand Mercure Mirama Hotel in Malang, the RSTI ratification was signed by Bank Jatim's IT, Digital, and Operations Director, Wiweko Probojakti, along with representatives from five KUB member banks. These included the Director of Compliance and Risk Management of Bank NTB Syariah, Ferry Ardiansyah; General & HR Director of Bank NTT, Rahmat Saleh; Operations Director of Bank Banten, Rodi Judo Dahono; Marketing Director of Bank Sultra, Ronald Siahaan; and VP of Information Technology of Bank Lampung, M Suryo Pranoto.
Wiweko explained that the signing of this RSTI is a vital collaboration between regional banks to advance their technological capabilities collectively. “The main focus of the IT synergy we are undertaking is strengthening information security, operational efficiency, and the integration of digital services. This collaboration aims to create shared standards, enhance infrastructure reliability, and expand the innovation capabilities across all KUB member banks,” he explained.
According to Wiweko, the collaboration layers that must be further strengthened by Bank Jatim alongside KUB member banks include governance, infrastructure, digital service data, and the directed and sustainable enhancement of human resource capacity and competence. This is to ensure that all strategic plans in the IT field can be implemented and achieved according to the set targets.
“Furthermore, with the strengthening of information technology infrastructure and HR quality, we are very optimistic that Regional Development Banks (BPD) can develop their business prudently. In line with our commitment, Bank Jatim is ready to share its experience and knowledge with KUB members in implementing various strategic steps in the IT sector so that we can all grow and thrive together,” he added.
In the digital banking line, Bank Jatim has successfully recorded positive growth. As of November 2025, JConnect Mobile reached 973,244 users, an increase of 20.14 percent (YoY).
