ATM Bersama Award 2024: Bank Jatim Succeeds as The Most Transaction Growth

MANDALIKA, October 16, 2024 – PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment. This time, the largest regional development bank in East Java was awarded The Most Transaction Growth ATM Bersama at the ATM Bersama Award 2024, organized by PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis (Artajasa). The event took place in Mandalika, Lombok, and the award was received directly by VP of Product Development at bankjatim, Eko Nur Ardian, on October 15–16, 2024.

President Director of bankjatim, Busrul Iman, expressed his deepest gratitude for the recognition. He stated that the award aligns with BJTM’s commitment to continually innovate its services to make financial transactions easier for customers in line with modern developments.

“This award is clear evidence of bankjatim’s consistency in providing increasingly simple and fast banking services for all customers,” he said.

Currently, bankjatim operates 847 ATM networks spread across East Java, Jakarta, and Batam. According to Busrul, going forward, bankjatim will aggressively expand its ATM network, including ATM Bersama units. This effort is part of BJTM’s strategy to accelerate business and economic growth in East Java. As of now, the average cash withdrawal by ATM Bersama members from bankjatim reaches IDR 67.04 billion per month.

“With this achievement, bankjatim further solidifies its position as a competitive regional bank with real contributions to sustainable development in East Java and Indonesia. Hopefully, this recognition will further ignite our spirit to continue contributing to the economic growth of East Java and Indonesia,” he added.

Meanwhile, President Director of Artajasa, Armand Hermawan, also extended his thanks for the trust shown by all ATM Bersama members in the services provided by Artajasa so far.

“We greatly appreciate the support of all ATM Bersama members in building the ATM Bersama network. We hope Artajasa can continue to synergize with members through innovations and breakthroughs in integrated payment systems, while also enhancing banks’ capabilities in providing the latest technologies for customers, including services like AI Assistant & Cross-Border Payment, in line with the theme of the ATM Bersama Members Meeting 2024,” he said.

Several national banks, members of the ATM Bersama network, also received top recognition from Artajasa through various award categories at the ATM Bersama Award 2024. The winners were selected through a review by a panel of assessors, based on the members' contributions in improving the quality and quantity of the ATM Bersama network over the past year.
