Bank Jatim wins 8 awards at once from Infobank

JAKARTA, April 1, 2024. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) was again awarded a prestigious award from Infobank for its performance which continues to show positive numbers. No half-hearted, 8 awards at once successfully brought by the issuer with the code BJTM. Located at Shangrila Hotel Jakarta, the award was received directly by bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman at the 13th Infobank - Digital Bank Recognition 2024 event on Monday (1/4).

The 8 awards include bankjatim named as: The Best Conventional Commercial Bank 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of Rp 100 trillion and above; The 2nd Best Debit Card Conventional Commercial Bank 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of Rp 100 trillion and above; The 2nd Best Deposit Conventional Commercial Bank 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of Rp 100 trillion and above; The Best KPR Conventional Commercial Bank 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of Rp 100 trillion and above; 5. The Best Savings of Conventional Commercial Banks 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of IDR 100 trillion and above; 6. The 2nd Best Wealth Management of Conventional Commercial Banks 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of IDR 100 trillion and above; 7. The Best Internet Banking of Conventional Commercial Banks 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of IDR 100 trillion and above; 8. The Best Mobile Banking of Conventional Commercial Banks 2024 - KBMI 2 - assets of IDR 100 trillion and above.

Busrul said, all the achievements obtained cannot be separated from the hard work of all Jatimers who always keep the banking business running in the midst of intense competition. On the other hand, public trust in bankjatim is also part of the company's success in getting awards from Infobank. "This recognition from Infobank is proof that bankjatim products and services have received a positive response and can be a solution to the various needs of the community. This appreciation will further motivate us to continue to innovate and improve bankjatim banking products," he said.

According to Busrul, this achievement is in line with bankjatim's consistency in digitalization. The reason is, in the midst of technological and communication developments now, digitalization is a necessity that cannot be avoided. Therefore, the company is committed to continue to strengthen collaboration with various strategic partners and consistently carry out various digitalization initiatives through product and service innovation. All of this is done in order to achieve positive performance and grow sustainably.

Busrul also emphasized, in general, bankjatim JConnect digital services experienced good growth in the number of users, transaction frequency, and transaction nominal. JConnect Mobile as the application with the largest user continues to experience feature development that will further facilitate customers in digital financial transactions.

Throughout 2023, JConnect Mobile users successfully reached 641,266 users or grew 29% (YoY). Then for the nominal transaction it was at Rp 42 trillion, up 45% (YoY). Furthermore, JConnect IB Corporate users are at 8,319 or up 31% (YoY) with a nominal transaction of Rp 11.7 trillion. Not only that, the number of Jatim Agents throughout 2023 also grew 76 percent (YoY) to 8,066 with a total transaction of Rp 92.3 billion.

Meanwhile, for this year 2024, bankjatim has planned to launch New JConnect Mobile. In the New JConnect Mobile there will be a total of 94 features. With details, 36 new features and 58 existing features.

Not stopping there, bankjatim also continues to innovate to support the digitization of local government finance. One of them, Electronification of Local Government Transactions (ETPD) which will facilitate customers in conducting financial interactions with local government services digitally.
