SURABAYA, July 28, 2023. The prestigious award was again received by PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk or bankjatim. This time, bankjatim officially received the Indonesia Best Bank Awards 2023 organized by Warta Ekonomi. The category that was successfully won by the issuer with the code BJTM is Indonesia Best Bank 2023 for The Provision of Facilities and Market Access for MSMEs for the BPD group.

Held via zoom, the prestigious award was received by bankjatim Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications Bambang Supriadi on Friday (28/7). The awarding is given because bankjatim's financial performance is considered optimal so that it has a healthy condition in 2023. Meanwhile, the number of transactions was at Rp 3.4 trillion, up 35 percent compared to the first semester of 2022 (YoY).

In addition, during the first semester of this year, bankjatim lending was able to record a significant increase of 13.02 percent (YoY). For the highest credit growth occurred in the commercial and SME sector by 25.55 percent (YoY) and the consumer sector 5.77 percent (YoY).
