SURABAYA, June 19, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank Jatim) has demonstrated its commitment to providing a tangible contribution to East Java's Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD). Bank Jatim has successfully become the largest Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD) in terms of dividend payments to the East Java Provincial Government. On Thursday (19/6), Bank Jatim officially paid dividends to all shareholders, both Series A and Series B, totaling IDR 821,497,900,066.22. The distributed dividend payout reached 64.12 percent of the company's total net profit in 2024, which was recorded at IDR 1.28 trillion. This profit is the highest among all Regional Development Banks (BPD) in Indonesia (bank-only balance sheet).
Breaking it down, from the total dividend payout, the dividends received by Series A Shareholders—consisting of the East Java Provincial Government and Local Governments across East Java with a total shareholding of 79.48 percent—amounted to IDR 652,917,236,095.22. The dividends obtained by the Provincial Government alone were valued at IDR 420,003,945,682.08. Meanwhile, Series B Shareholders (the general public) with a total shareholding of 20.52 percent successfully obtained dividends of IDR 168,580,663,971.
Acting President Director of Bank Jatim, Arif Suhirman, explained that Bank Jatim remains committed to being the best, most professional BUMD and a primary engine of economic growth, particularly in the East Java region. This is achieved through both daily business operational aspects and the distribution of the company's profits in the form of dividends. In the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) for the 2024 Financial Year, Bank Jatim successfully distributed a dividend of IDR 54.71 per share. This value is an increase from the previous year's dividend of IDR 54.39 per share. The dividend distribution, which consistently increases every year, has made BJTM shares a favorite investment choice for the public.
Arif emphasized that as a BUMD, Bank Jatim's vision and mission include contributing to regional economic growth in East Java, partly through dividend payments. ”The profit generated by the company is not only the right of the shareholders but also plays a vital role in supporting sustainable regional development. Through dividend payments, the majority of Bank Jatim's profits return to the region and are utilized for various government programs aimed at improving public welfare. This is a concrete form of our contribution to the government and the state,” he explained.
Arif also expressed his gratitude for the support and trust from the East Java Provincial Government and the entire community, allowing Bank Jatim to continue growing and making a positive impact on regional development. According to him, this dividend distribution reflects Bank Jatim's success in maintaining solid financial performance, supported by adequate capital and liquidity. Furthermore, this dividend payout is not only a positive signal for the capital market but also demonstrates Bank Jatim's consistency in carrying out business transformation to create long-term value for shareholders and stakeholders.
”Undeniably, Bank Jatim is the BUMD that consistently acts as the main driver in synergy among East Java's BUMDs. We certainly hope that Bank Jatim's performance and dividends continue to increase so that we can always provide the best for East Java. We will continue to be the choice for the people of East Java with various innovative and adaptive banking products and services,” he asserted.

Finally, distributed credit also increased significantly to IDR 75.35 trillion, demonstrating Bank Jatim's support for the real and productive sectors.
