HUT Ngawi 666th Anniversary, Bank Jatim Donates a Fire Truck to Ngawi Regency Government

NGAWI, July 7, 2024 – In conjunction with the 666th anniversary of Ngawi, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) has donated a fire truck to the Ngawi Regency Government on Sunday (July 7). The donation was handed over symbolically at the Pendopo Wedya Graha by bankjatim's Corporate Secretary, Wioga Adhiarma Aji, to Ngawi Regent Ony Anwar Harsono.
Wioga explained that through the bankjatim Peduli program, bankjatim is committed to playing a significant role in the development of Ngawi Regency through various CSR activities. These include social, cultural, educational, health, and MSME development programs. "This fire truck donation is one of bankjatim's efforts to contribute to disaster prevention, such as preventing residential or forest fires, especially during the dry season. We hope this donation can strengthen the existing fire-fighting fleet of the Ngawi Regency Government," he said.
According to Wioga, the bankjatim Peduli program is part of the bank's support for creating sustainable development and implementing the concept of Good Corporate Governance (GCG). Additionally, this donation reflects that the activities carried out by bankjatim are not solely focused on business activities. Bank operations must always be accompanied by social responsibility initiatives that improve the quality of life for the community and the surrounding environment.
