Bank Jatim Sweeps Awards at IHCBA and IPRA 2025.

JAKARTA, January 24, 2025. PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) has once again recorded a brilliant achievement. On Friday (24/1), bankjatim successfully swept four awards simultaneously: three from the Indonesia Human Capital Brilliance Award (IHCBA) and one from Warta Ekonomi.
For the IHCBA accolades, bankjatim was crowned as the Brilliant Digital Transformation in Human Capital of the Year 2024, Brilliant Equality and Inclusion Initiatives of the Year 2024, and Brilliant Employee Development Strategies of the Year 2024. Held in Jakarta, the awards were received by the AVP Learning Center of bankjatim’s Human Capital Division, Enddy Winata. Meanwhile, from Warta Ekonomi, bankjatim secured an award for Public Relations 2025 in the Category of Building Strong Brand Identity Through Strategic Collaboration for Regional Banks during the Indonesia Public Relations Award (IPRA) 2025 event.
The President Director of bankjatim, Busrul Iman, expressed his highest appreciation for the awards granted to the company. According to him, this achievement is a source of pride and proves that bankjatim has succeeded in implementing innovative and competent Human Resources (HR) management. “We remain committed to consistently undergoing business and Human Capital (HR) transformation to realize the company's business growth and provide the best service for all bankjatim customers,” he explained.
Busrul explained that the strategic innovations applied in bankjatim’s human capital management aim not only to improve internal performance but also to serve as a form of adaptation to the future challenges of the professional world. He believes that employees are the company's greatest asset; therefore, investment in human capital development remains a top priority to ensure the company's sustainability and growth.
Furthermore, Busrul added that bankjatim’s image continues to improve as it consistently contributes as a driver and engine of economic growth. Additionally, as the government’s primary partner, bankjatim also focuses on supporting financial management while providing optimal service to customers.
“The positive performance achieved by bankjatim certainly makes the corporate image even more brilliant, proving that our efforts in building public perception have been successful. We hope that bankjatim can continue to contribute positively and provide optimal benefits, both in East Java and nationally,” Busrul concluded.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the 2024 IHCBA Organizing Committee, Sifa Rickewine, noted that quality HR management is a vital element in achieving the "Golden Indonesia 2045" target. HR must not only be adaptive and innovative but also superior in order to drive sustainable company growth. “Organizations and companies must ensure that HR management does not only aim for short-term profitability but also contributes to long-term sustainability and the welfare of the workforce,” she explained.
The Indonesia Human Capital Brilliance Awards (IHCBA) 2024, organized by BusinessUpdate.id, is an effort to evaluate how companies and organizations are able to adapt to technological developments, market changes, and global challenges. “Effective leadership plays a crucial role in directing and inspiring change, while HR development focused on innovation and sustainability becomes the foundation for business continuity,” she finished.
