As a Form of Customer Appreciation, BJTM Holds Multipurpose Credit Lucky Draw with Umrah Prizes.

SURABAYA, December 18, 2024. As a form of appreciation for all consumer customers, PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (bankjatim) has just carried out the 2024 multipurpose credit lucky draw with Umrah prizes on Wednesday night (18/12). Located at the Santika Premiere Gubeng Hotel Ballroom, the event was attended by bankjatim SEVP Consumer Banking Hermita and the Head of the East Java Provincial Government Civil Service Agency (BKD), Indah Wahyuni.
Bankjatim President Director Busrul Iman explained that multipurpose credit is one of bankjatim's products that has gained public sympathy and helped many customers fulfill various needs beneficial to their welfare. This is in line with bankjatim's mission to contribute to East Java's economic growth so it can have a positive impact on increasing public purchasing power.
”In addition to assisting public welfare, multipurpose credit products also have their own appeal. Because there are many programs that are profitable for customers, one of which is the provision of this prize draw program as a token of gratitude and appreciation from bankjatim to customers who have entrusted their financial needs to us,” he explained.
Busrul hopes that events like this can continue to be built periodically as a form of bankjatim’s presence in meeting the financial needs of the people of East Java. According to him, this event also serves as a form of market maintenance which can simultaneously be used for information exchange and promotion in the future so that the public can be more motivated in utilizing bankjatim’s multipurpose credit, which is becoming increasingly diverse along with the innovations continuously carried out by the company in the present and future.
”Aside from that, we also hope that the public will always conduct financial transactions digitally through JConnect mobile banking for both monthly routine payments or daily activities, because now transactions are in our hands,” Busrul emphasized.
As of the third quarter of 2024, the credit successfully channeled by bankjatim reached IDR 62.19 trillion, an increase of 20.13% (YoY). For the consumptive credit portfolio specifically, it stood at IDR 33.79 trillion, an increase of 13.20% YoY. Meanwhile, the productive credit portfolio was IDR 28.40 trillion, increasing by 29.57% YoY. ”Supported by positive economic growth prospects and solid liquidity, bankjatim is optimistic about maintaining credit distribution, including multipurpose credit distribution. We hope that with the many strategies we implement, bankjatim's credit can record positive growth this year,” said Busrul.
Meanwhile, this multipurpose credit lucky draw with Umrah prizes was organized by bankjatim for the first time. During the activity, a drawing was held for 24 free Umrah quotas for 24 winners from 24 branch offices. The drawing event was packaged offline with various programs, one of which was the launching of the BKD Expert System and Technical Intelligence Engine (Bestie AI) product, which is a digitalization program for personnel services for Civil Servants (ASN).
